  • Tyres- pressure, tread and damage (minimum depth must be 2mm over centre of 3/4mm tyre

  • Tyre depth gauge attached to key ring and in good condition

  • Indicators all working correctly

  • Windscreen-monitor chips and crack sand inform when windscreen needs replacing/ repairing.

  • Window de minsters - all functioning correctly

  • Wipers, dirt and damage

  • Number plates- cracked or missing.

  • Vehicle handbook- kept in glove compartment.

  • Internal lights including dashboard- all functioning, any hazard warning lights on.

  • Seatbelt- operational and no signs of damage.

  • Horn- clearly Audible

  • Brakes- working correctly, no grinding or noise.

  • Hand brake- strong enough to prevent vehicle being driven.

  • Levels- coolant, power steering, screen wash and engine oil levels correct.

  • Vehicle interior- clean and tidy, vans, storage tidy and organised.

  • VANS- signage- chemical hazard signs, no smoking signs in cab all present.

  • VANS- 10 person 1st aid box, 10 eyewash pods, plasters, 2 X bags of absorbant sand for spills. Shrink wrap for packaging on site, 6kg Fire extinguishers.

  • Any relevant photos of damage or action required.
