Vaccine Checklist

  • Examine the shipment for signs of damage

  • Open the box

  • Remove TagAlert Temperature Monitor (placed in the inner box next to vaccine) from box

  • Press the blue “start and stop” button to check the TagAlert temperature monitoring device

If a left arrow points to a GREEN checkmark: Vaccine is ready to use.

  • Store the vaccine at proper temperatures immediately

  • For Storing in a Freezer:

  • Between -25°C and -15°C (Celsius) Between -13°F and 5°F (Fahrenheit)
  • For Storing in a Refrigerator:

  • Vaccine vials have not been punctured

  • Between 2°C and 8°C (Celsius) Between 36°F and 46°F (Fahrenheit)
  • Store in a refrigerator for up to 30 days.

If a right arrow points to a RED X: Vaccine is not ready to use.

  • Call the phone number indicated in the instructions or your jurisdiction’s immunization program IMMEDIATELY

  • Store the vaccine at proper temperatures and label “DO NO USE”

  • For Storing in a Freezer:

  • Between -25°C and -15°C (Celsius) Between -13°F and 5°F (Fahrenheit)
  • For Storing in a Refrigerator:

  • Vaccine vials have not been punctured
