Is there a fire and evacuation procedure?

Is there a floor plan showing fire exits and evacuation route? (Map)

What is the alarm procedure - is it a bell?<br>Where is it kept?<br>Where are the fire alarms?

Are smoke alarms fitted?<br>Battery/mains checked? Battery no more than one year old - have you tested them, do they work?

Is there a sticker on the fire extinguisher indicating that it has been checked and is within date? (12 months)

Is the signage adequate and up to date?

Where is the telephone for emergencies?

Is there emergency lighting? Is it working?

Where is the meeting point?

What is the procedure for reporting an accident?

Where is the first aid kit? Is it complete and up to date?

Where can the incident reporting book/forms be found? What was the last entry?

Is there a separate hazard book. Is it accessible?

Have you checked the last entry and noted the result ?

Is there adequate evidence of risk assessment to cover group activities (a sample risk assessment is sufficient)

Have you completed risk assessments for all other activities outstanding?

Are the completed forms and additional blank forms easily accessible?

Is there a healthy and safety policy?
