Is the Regulated Medical Waste accumulation area clean, orderly and locked at the time of inspection? Refer Section 118310 of the MWMA

Is the Regulated Medical Waste accumulation area have posted warning signs, on or adjacent to, the exterior of the entry doors or gates ? These warning signs must be in both English and Spanish as follows: CAUTION- BIOHAZARDOUS WASTE STORAGE AREA-UNAUTHORIZED PERSONS KEEP OUT, and in Spanish: CUIDADO-ZONA DE RESIDUOS BIOLOGICOS PELIGROSOS - PROHIBIDA LA ENTRADA A PERSONAS NO AUTORIZADAS. Ref. Section 118310 of the MWMA

Is the Regulated Medical Waste contained separately from other waste at the point of generation? Refer section 118275 (a) of the MWMA

Is the Regulated Medical Waste placed in a red bio-hazard bag and stored in rigid containers with tight-fitting lids labeled with the words "Bio-hazardous Waste" or the word "Bio-hazard", and the international bio-hazard symbol on the lids and sides so as to be visible from any lateral direction? Refer section 117630, 117645, 118280 (b) and 118275 (b) of the MWMA.

Is the Regulated Sharps Waste contained in a sharps container?

Is the Regulated Medical Waste placed in a red bio-hazard bags (when full) and tied? Refer section 1118280 (a)

Is the Regulated Medical Waste indicated the accumulation time? Please, include in the comment section, quantity of containers and accumulation dates. If a waste shipment was performed, forward the Regulated Medical Waste Manifest as part of this report.
