Project 3. Culture audit

  • Listening to and analysing mythologies provides senior leaders with essential knowledge to develop a constructive and positive culture within their organisation.

  • Task: Conduct an audit of the culture in your organisation. Take a representative sample and ascertain their mythologies about the organisation, their views about the organisation. Draw conclusions about the source of these mythologies and suggest changes the organisation can make to create a more constructive culture. Analyse the effectiveness/use of 'systems leadership' and the culture models from this unit. Provide a record of employees' mythologies, an analysis of their source and recommended organisation-wide actions. Support your analysis with examples of mythologies and the behaviour demonstrated. Also present your findings in a 7-10 minute presentation.
