Electrical safety

  • Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions

  • Ensure the lead is in good conditions and free of any damage. Ensure the lead is tagged

  • Ensure PPE is being worn Boots, Glasses, Helmet. Ensure loose clothing, jewellery and hair is away from moving parts.

  • Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to power source.

  • Do not force the power tool use the correct tool for the application

  • Maintain power tool. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts. Report ANY breakages

  • Keep tools clean

Circular Saw Safety

  • Do not use accessories which which are not specifically designed and recommend by manufacturer

  • Never lay the power tool down until the accessory has come to a complete stop

  • Do not operate the power tool near flammable material

  • Do not position your body in the area where the power tool will move if Kickback occurs.

  • Do not reach underneath the work workpiece

  • Knowledge of adjusting the cutting depth

  • When ripping always use the rip fence or straight edge guide

  • When blade is binding, release the trigger and hold motionless. Never attempt to remove whilst blade is in motion, other wise kickback may occur.
