  • It is recommended to replace the RCD’s with combination safety switches (RCBO’s). The main issues is if one of your power circuits trips the rcd let’s say from a faulty appliance you have the potential to lose another power circuit as well as a light circuit. Where if a combination safety switch was installed you would only lose the circuit that has the fault.
