SPECIFIC CLEANING TASKS

Item 1.0 Canteen (Kitchen and Smoko Area)

  • Frequency = Daily

  • 1.1 Scrub sink bench, wipe and clean

  • 1.2 Tables to be wiped and cleaned

  • 1.3 Replenish paper towels, hand wipes, drink cups

  • 1.4 Empty all rubbish bins and take rubbish away

  • 1.5 Reline rubbish bins

  • 1.6 Dust furniture, fittings, ledges and check for cobwebs

  • 1.7 Sweep and damp mop floor

  • 1.8 Remove marks from walls, doors and fittings

  • 1.9 Replenish coffee, coffee prima, hot chocolate, tea, Milo, milk, sugar,<br>salt and pepper, dish washing agents as required

Item 2.0 Toilets / Showers / Locker Room

  • Frequency = Daily

  • 2.1 Scrub and clean all toilet bowls and urinals

  • 2.2 Clean and disinfect seat, lid, cisterns and piping

  • 2.3 Scrub and clean hand basins and taps

  • 2.4 Scrub and clean showers, curtains and shower chairs

  • 2.5 Replace curtains if required

  • 2.6 Wash and blade glass mirrors

  • 2.7 Replenish soap, toilet rolls, hand wipes

  • 2.8 Check toilet seat sanitizer, air freshener and replace as required

  • 2.9 Remove marks off walls, doors and fittings

  • 2.10 Damp wipe hand dryers and clean up excess water

  • 2.11 Dust and clean sills and ledges and check for cobwebs

  • 2.12 Empty rubbish bins, replace liners and remove all rubbish

  • 2.13 Damp mop tile floor

Item 3.0 Locker Room

  • Frequency = Daily

  • 3.1 Vacuum floors

  • 3.2 Damp mop tile floors and/or linoleum

  • 3.3 Dust and Clean sills and ledges and check for cobwebs

  • 3.4 Empty all rubbish bins, replace liners and remove all rubbish

Item 4.0 Corridors

  • 4.1 Vacuum carpeted floors

  • 4.2 Damp mop other non-carpeted floors

  • 4.3 Remove marks from walls, doors and fittings

Item 5.0 Offices / Training Room / Sick Room

  • 5.2 Damp dust fixtures, fittings, sills and ledges, check high areas for<br>cobwebs

  • 5.3 Remove marks and dust from lights switches, window ledges, walls,<br>doors

  • 5.4 Spot clean marks from cupboards, cabinets, door handles and door jams

Item 6.0 EMU Workshops

  • 6.1 Remove all rubbish including dirty rags and dispose of environmentally<br>correctly.

  • 6.2 Clean and wipe down all areas

  • 6.4 Refill and maintain eye wash station(s) and first aid kits

  • 6.5 Clean up any oil spills

  • 6.6 Water purifiers – empty and clean drip tray

  • 6.7 Degrease areas including pits as required

Item 7.0 Utility/Server Room (If Accessible)

  • Frequency = Daily / 7.4= Weekly

  • 7.1 Damp mop other non-carpeted floors

  • 7.2 Remove marks and dust from light switches, walls and doors

  • 7.3 Empty waste bins, replacing liners / remove rubbish to collection point

  • 7.4 Dust and clean tops of cabinets and equipment (Weekly)
