  • 1. Are all aisles and work areas clean, orderly, and free from slip, trip or fall hazards?

  • 2. Are floor mats in place correctly (flat, fully intact) and clean?

  • 3. Are all products safely and securely merchandised on the shelf and/or stacked overhead to prevent injury?

  • 4. Are first-aid kits easily accessible to each work area, with necessary supplies available?

  • 5. Are fire extinguishers mounted in readily accessible locations, in good working condition?

  • 6. Are fire alarm stations clear and unobstructed?

  • 7. Are hazards (holes, cracks, protrusions) in the floor, sidewalk or other walking surface repaired properly, covered, or otherwise made safe?

  • 8. Are all exits, including fire exits, kept free of obstructions?

  • 9. Are all tools and equipment (both company and employee owned) used by employees at their workplace in good condition?

  • 10. Is appropriate protective equipment available in areas where hand tools or equipment may cause breakage and/or flying debris?

  • 11. Is “Tud’s Way” open, free from cardboard, damaged tools, and propane cage secure and to standard?

  • 12. Has Sales House storage been walked for hazards and secured (no doors left open, product maintained, and entry free from damage and/or hazards)?

  • 13. Are salt and sand buckets filled and available at all exits; Have they been utilized to ensure safe passage for employees and customers?
