SPDI Yard Safety Checklist

Has all lift equipment been checked and is in good working condition?

Are perimeter fences intact with no visible damages, and gates able to be secured appropriately?

Is the work area clear of debris and safe for travel, foot traffic or vehicles?

Are all means of egress clear and accessible?

Is pallet storage area neat, organized, and free from damages?

Are all tools and equipment (both company and employee owned) used by employees at their work area in good working condition?

Is the appropriate protective equipment available in areas where tools and equipment may cause breakage and/or flying debris?

Is all product secured in its home location and/or the racking to prevent injury?

Are first-aid kits easily accessible to each work area, with necessary supplies available?

Have all outbound loads been secured and validated by a member of leadership (Manager or Supervisor)?

Have pre-delivery truck inspections been executed and issues documented with Repair shop?
