Inspection Checklist

  • Factory grounds are neat and tidy. Lawns are mowed, no excess waste/rubbish in any areas

  • All doors are closed when not in use. Seals and door strips are intact. Self closing mechanisms are functioning (where applicable)

  • Services (water, steam, air etc.) are clearly identified (labelled)

  • Coving is not damaged or cracked

  • Floors are not damaged, cracked or pitted

  • Floors are clean and free from excessive product residue, pooling water and clean when not in use

  • Drains are clean and sanitary. Free from blockage or obstruction

  • Walls are clean and free from dust, mould, condensation and/or product residue

  • Staff uniforms and boots are clean (free from excessive soiling)

  • No person is chewing or eating in production areas (except product tasting for QA purposes)

  • All staff handling product or primary packaging are wearing clean, undamaged gloves

  • All bandaids worn are company supplied, blue detectable baindaids

  • Storage rooms, cool rooms, freezers are clean and free from debris

  • Displayed documentation (signs, posters, instructions etc.) is laminated and undamaged

  • No temporary repairs are present (no packing tape on parts/machinery, no non-detectable zip ties etc.)

  • All pens are company supplied and detectable

  • Tool boxes and other storage containers are clean, neat, undamaged and free from unnecessary items

  • Lids are closed on tanks, hoppers and vats (unless actively in use)

  • Cleaning and maintenance checklists have been fully completed and signed off to date
