Reason To make site operatives aware of their responsibilities as outlined in the company H&S Policy Be aware of your health and safety responsibilities: Operatives including Sub Contractors:  Familiarise yourself with Graham Roofing (Scotland) Ltd company policy  Comply with company safety rules at all times  Be responsible for your own health and safety, for matters within your control.  Ensure that your actions will not jeopardise the health and safety of others.  Carry out daily inspections of the workplace and rectify any unsafe/untidy conditions immediately or where necessary refer upwards to your foremen/supervisor.  Observe and correct or report unsafe practices or conditions.  Maintain a safe place of work.  Make any suggestions to improve any aspect of health and safety. Speak to Kenny or your line manager.  Maintain an active interest in safety.  Learn and follow operating procedures, safety rules and procedures at all times. Follow the company procedure if accidents occur.  Report any physical limitations or conditions which they have, which may affect your ability to carry out their work safely.  Do not use defective equipment.  Do not misuse equipment. The safety policy is available on the notice board at the yard at Dalsholm Ave. Do you have any questions for me?
