Subcontractor Responsibilities (PCBU)
-
All persons conducting a business or undertaking at a workplace (PCBU) have a primary duty of care to ensure so far as reasonably practicable, the health and safety of workers engaged by the person, and all other persons are not put at risk from work carried out by the PCBU.
Division 2 - s (19) WHS Act 2011
Division 2 - s (40) WHS Reg 2011 list the duty of the PCBU in relation to general workplace facilities

First Aid Kit Contents

You must have access to First Aid, it is mandatory to carry a First Aid kit in your subcontractor vehicle, the First Aid kit must comply with "First Aid in the workplace, Code of practice 2018"
The first aid kit should provide basic equipment for administering first aid for injuries including:
Cuts, scratches, punctures, grazes and splinters, muscular sprains and strains, minor burns, amputations and/or major bleeding wounds, broken bones, eye injuries and shock.
Confirm the quantity of the below items, you must carry the minimum amounts as set in the Code of Practice.
