SUSPENSION

  • Check the vehicle is not leaning. What condition does it look in?

  • Is the vehicle loaded correctly and not overloaded? Is the load secure and correctly strapped down

VEHICLE EXTERIOR BODY AND GLASS

  • Windscreen Free of Cracks and Chips

  • Any damage to the vehicles body work

  • Door Mirrors Adjustable and Free of Damage

  • Number Plates in Position, Clean, Free of Damage

  • Vehicle is Clean and Free of Road Grime and Dirt (has it been cleaned this week?)

VEHICLE TYRES

  • All tyres in good condition with plenty of tread and no damage/cracking to the side walls

VEHICLE BRAKING SYSTEM

  • Visually check all brake disks for cracks and in good condition

  • Ensure air brakes function when hand brake is applied

  • Test brakes before driving off. Do they respond and work correctly under emergency stop conditions?

VEHICLE INTERIOR

  • Driver seat and belt in Good Repair

  • Passenger Seat and Belts in good condition?

  • Passenger Seats in Good Repair

  • Windscreen wipers working and streak free

  • Interior is Clean and Free of Loose Objects

  • Dashboard warning lights work okay

SAFETY EQUIPMENT

  • Secure and fully stocked First Aid Kit

  • Fire Extinguisher Charged and Inspected
