  • Post are Properly Seated and Secured in Sleeves (minimum of 12 inches)

  • Cross-Arm Straps Being Used

  • Anchor Point Capable of 5,000 Pounds

  • Webbing Free from Rips, Tears, Etc.

  • Horizontal Lifeline Being Used

  • Red Strap Handle in Closed Position and has Gold Ring

  • Impact Gun Used with 11/16" Socket

  • Minimum of two (2) Cable Fist-Grips with 3 Threads Showing Above Nut and (spacing no closer than 6 inches

  • Carabiner in Place Between all Connections and must be able to Self-Close and Lock

  • Cable free from Kinks, Broken Strands, Corrosion, Abrasion, or other Signs of Wear or Damage

  • No More than Four (4) Users at one Time

  • Inspect all Components of the Body Harness for Excessive Wear and for Damaged or worn Buckles and Rings

  • STOPLINK Brake Has Legible Labels

  • STOPLINK Brake has no than 6 inches Pulled from the Unit

  • STOPLINK Tension Proper for Length of Cable (Green up to 60 feet) (Yellow over 60 feet) (Red is dead, remove from service)

  • Retractables Being Used

  • Condition of Webbing or Cables

  • Labels Legiable

  • Proper Length for Task being Performed

  • Rescue Plan Discussed with Workers (Self Rescue, Assisted Rescue, Professional Services)

  • Lock when Given a Pull Test. The Line Should Self-Retract when Released
