Housekeeping Checklist

  • Are floors and walking surfaces kept free of potential tripping hazards such as tools, electrical cords, air hoses, materials and liquids? AFI 91-203 para. 5.1

  • Are noncombustible containers with vapor tight and spill proof lids provided for the disposal of combustible wastes, soiled rags and other flammable materials? AFI 91-203 para. 5.2

  • Are packing materials such as excelsior (fine wood shavings), packing straw and shredded paper stored in an isolated fire-resistant building? AFI 91-203 para. 5.3

  • Are protruding nails, brads and staples removed from packing materials to prevent injury to personnel? AFI 91-203 para. 5.3
