DB Inspection Checklists

  • Panels numbered

  • Electrical panel has clear access. (No open hole & <br>excavation) There is no storage material within three <br>feet of the panel.

  • The panel is clean in general and no traces of dust, or <br>things are not of its contents

  • Structure of panel is okay and no signs of thermal <br>damage or broken in it.

  • Make sure no rust or corrosion, in or around the panel.

  • Top cover shield (canopy)is fixed on the panel to protect <br>it from natural factors

  • Panel should be kept on suitable stand

  • Junction boxes shall be free from defects

  • Switches and display should be properly covered

  • Rubber mat should be provided to stand during <br>operation

  • Ensure that the panel has three indicator lamps (to show <br>panel status it has electricity or not if drop one phase <br>from 3 phase)

  • Are all panel outlets (plugs) fixed and free from damage <br>and have cover?

  • Are all panel outlets (plugs) connected by 3 wires for <br>220v and 5 wires for 380v

  • Is the panel has each outlet (plug) 380v_220v compatible <br>to all circuit breaker sizes?

  • Panel has internal door (mirror) fixed well

  • Ensure that the cables entrance (which are in the bottom of panel) closed by glands or stopper for holes.

  • Do a main breaker and the main breaker size compatible <br>to the circuit breaker sized protect the panel?

  • All circuit breakers are labeled with the area that they <br>protect.

  • All circuit breakers have GFCI

  • All wires run through the walls of the panel are arranged <br>and held in place into flexible ducting and not lying <br>loose and also not live parts are exposed

  • Proper Neutral Copper Bus Bar is provided.

  • Proper grounding Copper Bus Bar is provided.

  • Fire extinguisher provided near the panel and in a good <br>condition

  • Panel color code sticker update.

  • No joints in supply cables

  • Control switches in place and operating

  • No uninsulated parts

  • Emergency contact numbers and Warning High Voltage <br>sign installed on the panel

  • The door panel lock works well
