Evaporative/Blower Section

Straighten evaporator coils (up to 10% of the surface area)
-
Clean evaporator coils with coil cleaner made specifically for that purpose and rinse with water

Check fan cleanliness; inspect wheel, shaft and cage for wear and clearance

Check sheaves and pulleys for wear and alignment
-
Replace Belt an apply correct tension
-
Brush clean, vacuum or blow out evaporator coils. If needed clean with coil cleaner made specifically for that purpose and rinse with water.

Clean and flush evaporator drain pan, trap and drain line.

Is drain adequately sized?

Is drain properly sloped and supported?

Install pan tabs

Ensure TXV bulb is securely mounted and distributor tubes are protected from vibration and rubbing
