Icelandair Ramp Safety Check List

Was FOD & parking stand check completed before the aircraft was taxiing in

Was external check of aircraft performed upon arrival

Personnel wait until aircraft has come to full stop, is chocked, anti collision light off, engines shut down and "all clear" given by marshaller or equivalent

Was all GSE correctly parked with regards to safety lines

Were chocks and wing/engine cones correctly placed according to the GOM

Were motorised vehicles e.g. baggage trucks and/or equipment operated in a safe manner and with a safe distance from the fuselage

Was external equipment e.g. loading equipment / mobile stairs / GPU / fueling vehicle etc correctly placed and handled

With high reach trucks email. G. Catering and mobile stairs when positioned, stabilisers are immediately deployed

Was special load (including DG) checked for leakage, correctly loaded , positioned, supported and secured

Were applicable cargo nets / container locks installed and secured in holds containing load before hold doors were closed

Proper hearing protection, safety footwear and high visibility clothing is used by all employees on the ramp

A complete walk - around inspection is done to check that cargo/access doors are closed and secured, and that there is no visible damage to the aircraft

Before departure , check that the gate area is clear of equipment

Wing tip clearance cones are removed and correctly stowed
