All PPE must be checked every 7 weeks and the form should be saved and exported to the direct lIne manager as a PDF.
Team Leaders must ensure that this procedure is carried out by all staff within their team and that there is evidence of individual PPE checks every 7 weeks.
Every 14 weeks the Team Leader should perform a random check against the submitted form for 2 of their team for quality assurance. -
If any item of equipment is missing or damaged a Team Leader must be informed and the Stores team must be emailed detailing deficiencies and actions taken.
