Hydrant Truck / Tanker Interlock inspection

Verify that all truck / tanker interlocks are present and are in working order. Any issue with the interlock system or override switch, the truck / tanker must be immediately removed from service for further inspection and repair. Interlock system & Override switch inspections on all truck / tanker are required to be done on each shift.

  • Hydrant coupler

  • Single point or side nozzle

  • Right lift deck nozzle

  • Left lift deck nozzle

  • Lift deck interlock (raise to check)

  • Lift deck stop wands or wing protector

  • Emergency brake

  • Bottom loader

  • Over wing nozzle

  • Verify that the interlock override switch is safety wired proper position.
