IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR TENANTS

  • This inventory provides a fair and accurate detailed record of the condition of the contents at the property along with the internal condition at the time that the inventory was prepared. It is the responsibility of the tenant and the Landlords Agent to agree between them the accuracy of this report. The Inventory Clerk that compiled the inventory is not an expert in fabrics, woods, materials, antiques, arts, colours etc. Nor are they a surveyor. The inventory is by no means a structural report. No heavy furniture( including sofas and mattresses) or fittings were moved during the compilation of this inventory. The inventory clerk has not climbed to identify and describe high level out of reach contents., furniture or fixtures and such items have not been accounted for. The Inventory Clerk has not entered into a room without light and any such room have not been accounted for. No electrical items have been checked by the inventory clerk. items left in the loft/attic, cellars, garages, sheds, locked, cupboards and rooms which have not been accounted for in this inventory are the responsibility of the Landlord.

    Additional Notes:
    Any recommendations /alterations or queries regarding the inventory are to be highlighted with the letting agent within 7 days of the check in. Any alterations made to the inventory outside this 7 day period will not be considered.

    I/we confirm receipt of the schedule of condition/ inventory of which this is a true copy. I /we understand that I/we must notify the Agent in writing of any omissions /discrepancies within the seven days after which I/we am deemed to have accepted this inventory as true and accurate.
