Description
Pre-Aircraft Arrival
-
Do all airside staff wear high-visibility clothing including ear, foot and hand protection (is eye protection worn when and where applicable)

Has the apron inspection been conducted ensuring the apron is clear of any foreign object debris prior to the aircraft arrival
-
Are marshaller(s) and wing guidance personnel situated in correct positions prior to the aircraft arrival to the stand
-
Has the VCP been put on hold prior to the aircrafts arrival
Aircraft Arrival
-
Has the marshaller ensured that no passengers, vehicles or flight crew are in the vicinity when marshalling an aircraft onto the apron

Did the marshaller(s) use the correct marshalling signals in accordance with CAA-CAP 637
-
Did the aircraft follow the marshaller(s) signals, instructions to manoeuvre the aircraft safely onto the jet centre apron
-
Once the aircraft has come to a complete stop, engines spooled down, anti collision beacon switched off, has the brakes set hand signal been given and then received from the flight crew before chocking the aircraft
-
Has the arrival inspection been carried out and/or if any damage found has it been reported to the flight crew and JC ops
-
Is the aircraft re-fuelling vehicle free to approach the aircraft without obstruction and have a rapid and clear exit route at all times
Towing / Pushing of aircraft on the jet centre apron
-
Has the aircrafts gear lock pins been inserted before any manoeuvre is carried out (if applicable)
-
Has the nose wheel steering/scissors/steering switch been disconnected before any manoeuvre is carried out (if applicable)
-
Are all doors, hatches and panels closed before any tow/push is conducted
-
Did the agent give the brakes released hand signal to the flight crew before pulling the aircraft onto the lektro
-
Did the agent check the brakes on/off placard in the flight deck window before any manoeuvre is carried out (only when there is no crew available)

Has the lektro driver ensured they have sufficient wing tip guidance when conducting the manoeuvre and that the intended path is clear of any obstacles
-
Was the tow / push of the aircraft at a slow and controlled pace
-
Once the tow / push is complete, was the aircraft chocked before disconnecting the lektro
Aircraft Departure

If the aircraft has been towed into position for departure has the lektro driver connected the nose wheel scissors and removed all the gear lock pins (if applicable)

Has the apron been checked for foreign object debris prior to the aircraft departure
-
Has the jet centre agent carried out a pre departure inspection of the departing aircraft
-
Are all personnel, vehicles and equipment clear prior to the anti-collision warning lights being switched on
-
Has the jet centre agent used the correct hand signals for aircraft start up
-
Has the VCP been put on hold prior to the aircraft departure
-
Is the aircraft safely marshalled off the jet centre apron assisted by wing-guidance personnel
-
Once the aircraft has departed the jet centre apron has the jet centre agent contacted the VCP to re-open
Towing / Pushing of aircraft onto the western end apron / localiser
-
Is the airside service roadway closed in advance of the aircraft arrival abeam stands 12-13-14, in accordance with company procedures
-
Has the lektro driver got confirmation from ATC to enter the taxiway for the arriving aircraft
-
Did the jet centre agent marshall the aircraft correctly and stop it at a designated point
-
Once the aircraft comes to a full and complete stop, engines spooled down, has the brakes set hand signal been given and received to/from the flight crew before the nose wheel is chocked

Did the lektro driver ensure the aircraft gear lock pins are in place (if applicable)

Did the lektro driver disconnect the nose wheel scissors/steering switch before any manoeuvre is carried out (if applicable)

Has the lektro driver ensured they have sufficient wing tip guidance when conducting the manoeuvre and that the intended path is clear

Was the tow / push of the aircraft at a slow and controlled pace

Once the tow / push is complete, was the aircraft chocked before disconnecting the lektro
