Manikin use cleaning checklist

Individuals who use the manikin after each use

Remove the face from the manikin and using a specific manikin wipe give a thorough clean covering all areas Use Nitrile gloves to do this

Change the lungs after each use

Clean the Manikin chest with a separate manikin wipe with Nitrile gloves on

Use a barrier method at all times, and thoroughly clean this with a manikin wipe as above

Once use of manikin has been completed remove manikin face and wash in a hot soapy disinfectant and leave to dry in a safe place.

Return manikin to correct storage place in the storage room behind the free weights area

Ensure all wipes and gloves are correctly disposed of. Wash hands in soapy water once completed
