Is there a designated area for storing hand tools so all workers know where to find them when needed?

Are suitable toolboxes available (not homemade toolboxes) for carrying hand tools to the work area?

Is housekeeping in the hand tool storage area at acceptable standards?

Flogging Spanners - Are the flogging spanners in good shape, no cracks or signs of excessive wear?

Screwdrivers - Are the tips in good condition, not chipped or excessively worn down, and handles in good condition?

Sockets - Are all sockets in good conditions, not cracked or out of round so they fit snugly on nuts when tightening/loosening?

Ratchets - Do they lock in place properly when used with sockets needed to tighten or loosen a nut?

Pipe Wrenches - Are pipe wrenches in good condition, grip teeth not worn out, handle not bent, adjustment screw holds firm when in use?

Hammers - Are all hammers in good condition, hammer heads not flaring or cracking around edges, handles without cracks and firmly attached to the handle?

Chisels - Are all chisels in good condition, heads not flaring, mushroomed or cracking around edges?

Adjustable Spanners - Are the adjustable spanners in good working order, no cracks, stretched or signs of excessive wear?

Ring / Open-Ended Spanners - Are the Ring / Open-Ended Spanners in good condition, ring end not out of round, open-end with no signs of spreading beyond the original design?

Modified Tools - Are there no homemade hand tools in the toolbox or work area?
