  • Is the Visor and Frame clean and free of cracks, tears, or holes. Ensure visor stays firmly in the up (open) and down (closed) positions Examine the visor gasket for tears or other damage. Gasket should be pliable and not brittle

  • Head Suspension - Ensure head suspension ratchet operates properly. Inspect web straps for rips, tears, fraying, or other damage

  • Face Seal and inner/outer shroud- Look for tears, holes, and stretched or damaged elastic. Examine the visor gasket for tears or other damage. Gasket should be pliable and not brittle.

  • Motor/Blower- Inspect for cracks, holes, damage to user interface panel, and other attachments.

  • Battery Pack- Inspect the battery pack for cracks, holes, or other damage. The plastic case should not be discolored, chalky, or soft. These may be signs of deterioration of the battery housing.

  • Belt- Inspect belt buckle for damage such as breaks or cracks. inspect the belt leads for cuts or tears

  • Cartridge/filter- check operation of cartridge/filter. Replace as needed and write install date.

  • Cleaning - wipe thoroughly with damp cloth and warm water
