Review Specification Section 230500- Basic Mechanical Requirements

  • Review the General Conditions and Contract Documents for compliance to the scope in this section

  • Review the Submittals associated with the work included in this scope of work and check all material for compliance.

  • Have all trades coordinated any clash or interference that may not be clear in the contract drawings?

  • Insert screenshot of coordinated drawings

  • Verify that all welded pipe is installed and true with right angles and joints are properly aligned.

  • Are all of the basic mechanical requirements found to be within the specification? If NO, please note all deficiencies and a plan of action to re-mediate.

Review Specification Section 230529- Mechanical Hangers and Supports

  • Verify that all pipe hangers and supports are in compliance with the specification for load capacities.

  • Verify that all fasteners are approved and installed as specified.

  • Verify that the maximum spacing for the CWP supports are not exceeded.

  • Verify that the proper size pipe supports allow for the required insulation thickness.

  • Verify that sleeves are installed in thru-wall piping per the specification.

Review Specification Section 232113- Hydronic Piping

  • Verify proper bevels were used in pipe to pipe and pipe to flange connections prior too root welds.

  • Visually inspect all welds for any cracking or slag inclusion.

  • Verify that all valves installed are approved as specified.

  • Has there been a full loop pressure test?

  • Insert photo documentation of pressure test.
