MEWP must be in a good order, without cracks, welds, fuel leaks, hydraulic leaks, damaged control cables or wire harness, etc.

Tyres and wheels must be in a good condition with adequate air pressure if pneumatic.

Braking devices must operate properly.

Grounding strap must be attached and must be reaching to the ground.

The manufacturer's operations manual must be stored on MEWP.
