Will the postcode take you to the correct part of site?

Are there any site map/logistics plans

Can delivery or collection be made at any time between Monday to Friday 8am-5pm?

Do they have specific documentation requirements? For example, permits, site specific RAMS, maximum ground bearing pressures, FORS certificates or temporary work requirements etc.

Are they any site PPE or rules notice boards

Are there any specific client/contractor requirements regarding safety controls? For example, site specific working at height rules, site induction instructions, or ‘bottom lifting’ requirements.

Is access and egress to and from site restricted for a loaded lorry, Height and width?

Is access and egress to and from site restricted with or without a trailer or artics?

Is access and egress to and from site restricted by any weight restrictions?

Will access and egress to and from site change for the collection?

Are there any external restrictions on the approach to site which may obstruct the delivery/collection? For example, parked cars, narrow roads, dips in the road and raised humps, low bridges, sharp turns, overhanging branches, schools, roadworks etc.

The customer needs to be made aware of their responsibilities.

Is the site open to the general public? For example, a hospital, shopping centre, school, leisure centre, public highway, public car park etc.

Will there be a Client representative on site whilst the operation is in progress?

Is there sufficient space available for the lorry loader vehicles to maneuver and set up for lifting, including vehicle stabilizers?

Will site require Jack pads to level the ground

Jack pad will need to be contacted and a site survey arranged

The ground conditions will need to be level and fit for purpose capable of withstanding the loadings of the units ground bearing pressures. This is the responsibility of the customer. Has the customer been made aware of this?

The customer must be informed of their responsibilities.

Are the units being stacked?

Is there sufficient space for access equipment to seal the external connections of the units? (MEWP, Scissor lift, Scaffold tower).

Access to the sealing point where the units connect are a minimum requirement.

Are there any restrictions on site preventing us from offloading the unit immediately to the side of the delivery lorry?

Will the site require our specialist lorry mounted loader crane for lifting over the front of the vehicle cab?

Is the work area clear with adequate hard standing (including site access)? Note: vehicles will not drive over or set up on grass or muddy areas.

Are there any excavations close to the working area? Please note lorry mounted loader crane stabilisers need to be set up away from excavations.

Is the ground around the working area free from underground voids and services, manhole covers, and backfilled areas?

Are the ground conditions where the unit(s) will be positioned be of suitable strength to accommodate the lorry loader crane stabilisers, and the weight of the unit(s)?

Are the Ground Bearing Pressure known (GBP) in kN/m2 or T/m2

Are there any nearby overhead electricity cables within 40 meters of site?

Are the power lines further away than the requirement drawings?

Are there any other overhead restrictions in the working area? For example, telephone cables, pipework, canopies, trees, bridges etc.

Are there any obstructions such as hedges, walls, or fences we need to lift the unit over?

If this is a blind lift where the operator cannot see the vehicle, crane, load and the loads intended path at all times this will require a second man on site

Are any units to be loaded/unloaded onto any Gantry's, platforms, scaffolding, multilevel carparks or bridges

Is the site on network rail property?

Is the site within 30m of a network rail boundary fence or network rail line?

Are there any other hazards we need to be made aware of that is not specified so far?

Has a drawing been submitted with the proposed site set up?
