Are the weekly checks been carried out for the month?

Has the flick test been conducted ?

Were there any issues raised when conducting the flick test?

Are the gas leaks procedures displayed on your notice boards and all staff and members aware of it?

Are all fire signs intact?

Is the fire blanket present and in good state?

Are all staff and people we support familiar with the fire evacuation plan?

Fire drills- are they being conducted every 6 months and recorded?

Are all glass break points tested when you conduct a fire drill?

Have the legionella temperature checks done?

Were any issues raised when conducting the legionella checks?

Is there a disabled toilet alarm chord in the disabled toilet?

Is the disabled toilet alarm chord working?

Are the hot plates, urn and slow cooker in good working order?

Are all appliances in good working order e.g.: fridges, ovens, fans, dishwashers.

Are the tiles and grouting in bathroom in good condition?

Is the decoration in a good state? (e.g. paint peeling/are the walls clean)

Are the windows secure?

Are the window restrictors in good state and working properly?

Are there any leaks or indication of water damage on walls, ceiling, window seals, carpets?

Are shelves and curtains securely fixed?

Are the mattresses for staff and tenants in good condition?

Is the furnishings and furniture in good condition?

Are all hoists in good condition and are working well?

Is there a pest or infestation problem?

Have all accidents and incidents forms sent to healthandsafety@kisharonlangdon.org.uk?

Have all accidents and incidents been fully followed and discussed with healthandsafety@kisharonlangdon.org.uk?

Are all the Health and Safety risk assessments up to date? (Health and Safety, manual handling, COSHH, First Aid, Lone working and infection control)
