  • Does the unit require a Factory Acceptance Test?

  • If the unit does require a Factory Acceptance Test, the Technician in charge must bring the unit to its ready state.

  • This unit requires repair and must be marked as D6MD

  • Does the unit have a measurable usage time?

  • What is the usage hours (Round Up to the nearest hour)

  • Take a photograph of the unit Serial Number (Carton Label, Unit Label and OSD Serial)

  • Does the unit pass the Factory Acceptance Test?

  • What is the final determination of the Storage Location of the unit?

  • Signature of Authorising Officer

  • Complete this Inspection as normal and inform DSD through the standard email notification that this unit failed the inspection.

  • Is this different to the initial Storage Location identifier on the Return Documentation?

  • Complete this Inspection as there is no further work required.
