NIGHT CLEANING SCHEDULE

Saturday

  • Clean and disinfect toilets including bathroom upstairs

  • Clean and disinfect all sofas in the big lounge and small lounge

  • Clean and disinfect and clean all tab les and chairs in the dining room including the legs of the chairs

  • Clean and disinfect all tables and chairs in the Activity room

  • Clean and disinfect all door handles

  • Clean and disinfect the stairs banister

  • Clean and disinfect all worktops and surfaces

  • Clean and disinfect all floors: big lounge; Activity room; small lounge; dining area; staff office

  • Clean and tidy staff office, including dusting and cleaning of the floor

  • Clean all bins before placing a new liner

  • Finish the remaining laundry i.e., red medical bags and complete relevant ironing

  • Clean and disinfect all wheelchairs and wheelchairs cushions, Zimmer frames and other walking aids

  • Empty all bins in the home

  • Empty and clean the dishwasher

  • Tidy the kitchen

  • Mop all the floors on the ground floor (wellness room area; front area up to clinical room), vacuum the carpet in the sensory room

  • Clean the medication/clinical room

  • Hoover the front porch

GENERAL CLEANIG OF THE COMMUNAL AREAS

  • Clean and disinfect the wellness room-mop the floor, deep clean the tops and furniture, high dusting,

  • Clean all the skirting boards in the big and small lounges as well as the corridor outside wellness room/sensory room area

  • Clean all the doors, door frames and glass panels. PLEASE ENSURE THE GLASS PANEL IS NOT LEFT CLOUDY/SMEARY

  • Clean the clinical/medication room
