Baler Inspection

  • Before Inspection, check your surroundings and conduct a visual risk assessment.
    Equipment must be isolated against unexpected start-up or movement during initial checks
    Carry out inspection in same direction, starting from same point each time.

  • Check for any loose wires visible

  • Check Oil Levels

  • Check for signs of oil leakages

  • Check Guards (must be bolted secure)

  • Turn machine on - check Emergency Stops

  • Run machine cycle are there any unusual noises coming from machine when ram is going down or up?

  • Are all buttons and functions working?

  • Check chamber door locks securely
