OHS Audit Checklist

Are all walkways clear and free from obstruction?

Are sufficient bins supplied to the area?

Are all metal sheeting stored correctly and not left around the assembly area?

Have sufficient mats been supplied to the area and are they located correctly?

Are there any loose components or rubbish left lying around the assembly area?

Are there any power cords lying on the floor causing trip hazards?

Are there any objects at eye height that are causing any hazards to employees?

Is all racking correctly bolted down and weight limit signs correctly displayed?

Does all equipment have safety guards correctly applied (if required) and are they functional?

Are all required safety signage displayed and in good working order?

Are there any objects / tasks / areas that require unnecessary bending of employees?

Are all employees wearing the appropriate PPE?

Has appropriate lighting been installed within the area and are they functional?

Has appropriate ventilation been installed within the area and is it functional?

Have all electrical appliances been correctly test & tagged and are free from any damage?

Are all exits clear from obstruction and functional in case of emergency?

Even surface- is the floor free of holes, cracks or lifting tiles/carpet causing tripping hazards?

Are heating/cooling units effective for the work area?

Clear instructions displayed for evacuation?
