  • Are waste storage containers properly labeled for the material contained, clearly legible, and dated? (Inspect the container for the appropriate label and material name. If there is no label or the current label is not legible, contact the environmental department for the appropriate label)

  • Are waste storage containers on appropriate containment? (The container(s) should be placed on a spill tray within the storage closet)

  • Are waste storage containers in good condition with insignificant levels of corrosion, deterioration, or cracking? (Inspect the container(s) for leaks, rust and/or deterioration. View the area around the container and the inside of spill tray for signs of spills. If the integrity of the container(s) is in question, transfer the waste into a new container)

  • Report the total consumption of the substances on this inspection (gallons per week)
