  • Chains & Slings in good condition and tested/tagged LOLER (Hung on hooks not on floor)

  • Forklift Truck for condition & damage (FLT Inspection Tag attached & in date/completed, pre-user checks folder)

  • Hydraulic Jacks, Trolley Jacks, Pit Jacks Tested LOLER

  • Hydraulic Power Press Full face shield available at press for use

  • MIG Welder Tested for electrical safety

  • Pneumatic greasing equipment checked - No leaks

  • Pressure Washer Equipmet & Hose checkedIn good condition

  • Oxy/Propane equipment checked, trolley, hoses, spark ignitor, 4 Stage flash back arrestor fitted, (In date tag for inspection)

  • Vvehicle Lifts tested LOLER

ACCIDENT CHECKS

  • Accident, Incidents & Near Miss, reported to QHSE via QR Code

CLEANLINESS CHECKS

  • Cleanliness canteen

  • Cleanliness toilets (gents and ladies), showers

  • Cleanliness of reception area and offices

  • Cleanliness parts department and counter

  • Cleanliness in workshop and bays

  • Cleanliness in drivers waiting room

  • Cleanliness of yard

FIRE CHECKS

  • Fire Alarm (weekly testing of call points completed)

  • Emergency Lighting (monthly "flick" test completed /recorded)

  • Fire drill (must be carried out 2 times annually)

  • Fire Exits (unlocked and clear of obstructions inside and outside)

  • Fire extinguishers (in position and seals intact)

  • Smoke alarms (if fitted)

FIRST AID CHECKS

  • First Aid Box & Eyewash Stations

ENVIRONMENTAL CHECKS

  • Spill kits are intact and not used (accessible in workshop areas)

  • Waste skips identified & waste segregated correctly

  • Oil drums (over 200ltrs) stored on bunded trays (Under cover)

  • Oil storage tanks alarm (if fitted) is working properly

  • Oil storage tankssight gauges working and not damaged

DRAIN SYSTEM CHECKS

  • Surface water drains clear of contamination

  • Vehicle Wash facility, ramp is in good condition (visual)

STORAGE SYSTEM CHECKS

  • Racking system checked (parts warehouse and workshop). Storage at height/overhanging items

PITS CHECKED

  • PIT lights working

  • PIT Jack(s) in good condition Tested LOLER

  • PIT Steps checked

  • PIT signs

  • PIT chain/tape used at entrance (Tensa Rectractable System)

  • PIT bridge (if applicable)

HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES CHECK

  • Hazardous cupboard is locked, COSHH QR Code Available

GAS INSTALLATION & BOTTLES CHECKS

  • LPG or Calor gas tank (if installed)

  • LPG/ and other gas bottles stored securely, signage displayed
