Batteries Check

  • Check Avionics Battery Voltage (Li-Ion 16.8V; LiPo 16.4V)

  • Batteries free from damage? Impacts, Cracks, Splits, Puffiness.

Airframe Check

  • Check AIrframe for physical damage. Impacts, Cracks, Splits, loose components. Document damage using camera/note.

  • Check fuselage for debris?

  • Is AIrframe flight worthy?

Wiring Check

Startup Procedure

  • Power cables all connected and secure

  • Servo cables correctly connected and secure? (X8 Left wing servo CH1, Right wing Servo Ch2?)

  • GPS cables all connected and secure?

  • Pitot tubes and cables all connected and secure?

  • Receiver (RX) cables all connected and secure (PPM/SBus and RSSI)

  • Telemetry Radio cables all connected and secure (On PXH and Radio)

  • All Odroid cables all connected and secure? (USB to SGC, USB to PXH, USB to WIfi)

  • Check Antenna orientation and Integrity

Startup Procedure

  • RC Transmitter Swiches and knobs set to neutral/Manual? (All switches forward, knobs left)

  • After power up is the transmitter settings correct? Is the correct model selected?

  • Ground Station PC/Tablet on and apps running?

  • Power UAV Avionics and Imaging Systems?

  • Did Autopilot Startup? (PXH LED Breathing = Disarmed)

  • WIfi Downlink Power LED on? Link status LED on?

  • Odroid Power LED on? Press Odroid Power button.

  • Odroid Heartbeat LED pulsing?
