Visual Inspection

  • When looking and listening to drains in sinks, tubs, and showers, is a slow drain or gurgling identified?

  • Are visible pipes and joints checked for signs of corrosion, such as bluish-green deposits on brass and copper, or rust on iron and steel?<br>

  • Are all toilet seats free from damage?

  • Are there any signs of leakage from showers, toilets or sinks?

  • Are shower heads and taps free of scale or debris.

Preventative Maintenance

  • Are the Shut off valves on water supply lines under fixtures working as they should

  • Are p-traps under sinks cleaned out to protect against future clogs?

  • While checking under sinks, is a thorough inspection for leaks or signs of damage, such as stains, mildew, warping, or peeling conducted?

  • When trying to move or rock toilets without using too much force, is movement checked, and if present, are the mounting bolts at the base tightened?

  • Are tank lids off toilets removed to check for obvious signs of wear or damage to parts?

Temperature Check

  • Run the outlets for 4 minutes or for as long as it takes for the temperature to regulate.
