VISUAL INSPECTION CHECKLIST

  • Motion beeper is adequate

  • Flashing light working and visible

  • Fire extinguisher fitted and current (when applicable)

  • Load chart fitted in cabin (if used for lifting)

  • Tyres and Tracks in good condition- no obvious or visible signs of damage to treads and sprockets

  • Roll Over Protection system (ROPS) fitted - cabin, roll cage or similar

  • Falling Object Protection system (FOPS) - cabin or similar enclosure

  • Seatbelt or fall restraint fitted (when applicable)

  • All controls are clearly labelled, marked and operating- including lights, horns, brakes

  • All warning labels fitted to the Plant (crush zones, pinch points, etc.) as per risk assessment

  • Safe Work Loads (SWL) are clearly marked

  • No obvious signs of oil leaks

  • All hot surfaces guarded- engine and exhaust

  • Inspect attachment points, quick hitch attachments and safety pins for any obvious signs of damage, cracking distortion or wear

  • Quick hitch safety pins are in place
