Powered Pallet Truck Inspection Report

WHEELS – What do the wheels look like? Any damages?

LIGHTS – If equipped with lights, are they working?

BATTERY CHECK – Are cables and connectors in good working order? Clean/Dry? Secure from movement? Check battery fluid level.

HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS - Is there leakage or damage on the lift or tilt cylinders on the mast or attachments?

HYDRAULIC FLUID – Check fluid level.

BLOW DOWN – The Powered Pallet Truck has been blown down.

LIFT CHAINS & ROLLERS – Is there wear, damage or kinks, signs of rust, or any sign that lubrication is required? Is there squeaking?

MAST ASSEMBLY – Are there broken welds, cracked or bent areas and worn or missing stops?

FORKS – Are they cracked, bent, worn or mismatched? Is there excessive oil or water on the forks?

GAUGES – Are they working properly?

LOAD HANDLING ATTACHMENTS – Is there hesitation when hoisting or lowering the forks? Is there excessive oil on the cylinders?

HORN - Does the horn work?

CONTROL BUTTON(S) – Mast & Carriage - raise/lower/tilt/swing. Do they work?

CONTROL BUTTON(S) – Lifting attachment - Proper movement?

CONTROL BUTTON(S) – Drive - forward/reverse - Do they work?

CHARGE LEVEL - Is the battery working properly? Is there a sufficient amount of charge on the truck?

CONTROL BUTTON(S) – Steering - left/right - Do they work?

EMERGENCY STOP BOTTON - Does the emergency stop button work effectively?

BRAKING - Is the braking system working effectively?
