Conditions

  • 1.0 The employer or their appointed representative requires the completion of the handover checklist at handover. This is to ensure that all relevant documentation is handed over which pertain to the unit.

  • 2.0 The contractors Project Manager or other suitable representative in conjunction with the Principle Designer and Employer nominated representatives are to run through the operations of the mechanical, electrical and any other systems or items which may need demonstrating to ensure the smooth operation of the unit.

  • 3.0 I "the Employer" understand and certify that the project has achieved final completion and all the outstanding payments to the contractor will be paid in full as per separately supplied final account. It is also confirmed that (where applicable) the retention fee will be held at the rate agreed and for the time stated within the contract.

  • 4.0 Agreed final payment term.

  • 5.0 Agreed defects period.

  • 6.0 I "the Employer confirm that I will release the Contractors final account payment within the payment term noted in section 4.0.

  • 7.0 I "the Employer confirm that the agreed defects period is noted in section 5.0 The contractor gives full confirmation of returning to carry out any genuine defects at the end of this stated time frame. All the items that are considered "damage" or in a deteriorated condition due to the negligence by the employer or their representative within this period will be subjective to a chargeable visit.
