Does the route cross streams requiring a culvert?

Will the culvert be >1 metre diameter?

Any signs of instability or apparent slide paths?

Is tree clearing minimized by the route?

Does the route cross or climb significant slopes (>35° for over 10 m)?

Are any cut banks higher than 3 m anticipated

Is an erosion management plan in place?

Any signs of subsurface water flow along the route?

Is the road-building material suspected to create ARD?

Is the operator competent and authorized to conduct the earthworks?
