External - Plant Options and external Layout Considerations
-
New Plant Option 1 - The preferred option is a single floor mounted 152 KW dry cooler. The low noise version is 8.7Mtrs long, 1.3Mtrs wide with a noise level of 43 dB(A) @ 5Mtrs. You need at least 1Mtr each side of the unit for air flow and service and maintenance access. If possible identify upto 3 locations for this option complete with photos and dimensions of the areas. This Dry Cooler will also need the space for a pumpstation which is 1.2Mtrs wide by .8Mtrs deep and requires at least 1Mtr in front of it for service and maintenance access.
-
New Plant Option 2 - If you cannot find the space for option 1 then look for space for 2 x 80KW floor mounted dry coolers. The low noise version is 4.2Mtrs Long, 1.2Mtrs wide with a noise level of 42dB(A) @ 5 Mtrs. You need at least 1Mtr each side of the units for air flow and service and maintenance access. If possible identify upto 3 locations for this option complete with photos and dimensions of the areas. You will also need the space for 2 x pumpstations which are 1.2Mtrs wide by .8Mtrs deep and requires at least 1Mtr in front of them for service and maintenance access.
-
New Plant Option 3 - If you cannot find the space for option 1 or 2 then look for space for a single wall mounted 152 KW dry cooler. The low noise version is 11.4Mtrs long, 1.94Mtrs deep (includes gap between wall) with a noise level of 44 dB(A) @ 5Mtrs. You need at least 1.5Mtrs in front of the unit for air flow and service and maintenance access. If possible identify upto 3 locations for this option complete with photos and dimensions of the areas. This Dry Cooler will also need the space for a pumpstation which is 1.2Mtrs wide by .8Mtrs deep and requires at least 1Mtr in front of it for service and maintenance space. The pumpstation will be wall mounted within the warehouse so identify a location as close as possible back to back with the dry cooler.
-
New Plant Option 4 - If you cannot find the space for option 1 to 3 then look for space for 2 x 80 KW wall mounted dry coolers. The low noise version is 7.3Mtrs long, 1.5Mtrs deep (includes gap between wall) with a noise level of 42 dB(A) @ 5Mtrs. You need at least 1.5Mtrs in front of the units for air flow and service and maintenance access. If possible identify upto 3 locations for this option complete with photos and dimensions of the areas. These Dry Coolers will also need the space for 2 x pumpstation which are 1.2Mtrs wide by .8Mtrs deep and require at least 1Mtr in front of them for service and maintenance space. The pumpstations will be wall mounted within the warehouse so identify locations as close as possible back to back with the dry cooler.

If you cannot find space for any of the above 4 options then consider the 4 x 152KW Non standard options detailed within the Hauser survey guide.
-
Which of the four options could you find a space for?
-
Does the existing plant & cabinets match the Hauser Service data base export ? And what is the noise level of the existing condenser?
-
Take a measurement using a laser measure from the proposed plant areas to any residential buildings and note it here.
-
Is this an Eco ES Store?
-
Add a Google Earth aerial Photo of the store
-
Identify a space for the Site container? Take a photo and mark up the location.
-

-
Mark up proposed pipe routes on the visio from the plant to the cabinets?
-
Are Builders works required? If yes detail what is required.

Is there a loading bay we can use for the cabinets delivery? If yes what is the size of the opening? If no what is the alternative access into the store?
-
What are the door opening sizes along the cabinet route (Doors and Cages)? In order to get a 2.2Mtr high R290 cabinet in we need a minimum of 2.4Mtrs (Ideally 2.45Mtrs)
-
How many Kampmann Units serve the sales floor? Mark up the locations on the Visio and confirm the height from the finished floor level to the underside of the unit.
-
Does the store have a loft hatch? Mark up the location on the Visio and take some photos of the loft and confirm if it is suitable to run the pipework in?
-
Is space available above the suspended ceiling for new pipe services etc. Measure the depth and take some photos.
-
Are there any other internal considerations? If so what are they?
Electrical
-
Does the store have a 250amp TP&N chiller distribution board? If so mark up the location on the visio and confirm how many spare ways there are? Take a photo of the board model number.
-
Does the store have a 63amp TP&N M&P distribution board installed & M&P alarm panel? If so mark up the locations on the viso and confirm how many spare ways there are.
-
If the store does not have the 250amp TP&N Chiller distribution board then Hauser will supply a new 150amp TP&N distribution board. Identify a location for this and mark it up on the visio.
-
The store will also have a new XWEB alarm panel so identify a location and mark it up on the visio as Lidl will need to install a CAT 5 data point next to it.
Existing Cabinets and Plant
-
Mark up the location of the internal HT Pack & external condenser on the Visio
-
What is the condition of the fins on the existing condenser? Would it be suitable for re-use?

What is required to remove the condenser? Moffat, hi-ab or a crane?
-
What is the height of the condenser from FFL?
-
What is the height of the Pack from FFL?
-
Are there separate ball valves for the back and side wall cabinets to allow local isolation for the phased removals?
-
In order to re-use existing top hat covers they need to be large enough for 2 x 90mm carbon steel pipes, are they? If so how many can be re-used?
