Project - Administration

  • Is perimeter site fencing in place sufficient to deter / prevent causal unauthorised access ?

  • Is signage erected at the main entry (eg Contact Details, WHS requirements ect) and other points of access tosite ?

  • Is the Site Office in a suitable location to monitor activities onsite and receive visitors ?

  • Are daily sign-in sheets being completed by all workers and visitors ?

  • Have environmental issues been addressed in a suitably sufficient manner (settlement ponds, swales, sediment fences, dust suppression etc) ?

  • Are rubbish collection and removal systems in place and sufficient to effectively deal with rubbish, debris and construction waste ?

  • Are there sufficient materials storage areas, placed in convenient locations (without hampering access and construction) ?

  • Are workers observing suitable PPE and HiVis clothing requirements ?

Hazards

  • Are major hazards being identified and controlled on site ?

  • Are excavations being protected and not left unattended ?

  • Have any overhead electrical powerlines potentially affecting the site (perimeter or internally) been identified and risk assessed ?

  • Are fall risks being identified and controlled ?

  • Is Scaffold provided for access and work platforms being reinspected every 30 days ?

  • Is traffic separation being suitably address to control risk to workers and others ?

Mobile Plant

  • Are Registration, Licencing (where applicable), maintenance and test records being carried and available for inspection ?

  • Does mobile plant appear to be in good order, set up and operated correctly / competently ?

  • Are warning Beacons (flashing lights, reversing beepers etc) fitted and operational on mobile plant ?

Electrical

  • Are Meter Boxes provided for construction power AS3012 (Construction Power) compliant, tested by an electrician every three months and trip-tested monthly ?

  • Are electrical items and site shed power tested in accordance with AS3012 requirements ?
