Verify Steel Erection Safety Plan is being followed

Verify crane inspections and crane operator documentation is current (retain copies of all records)

Verify all required welders certifications are current (retain copies of all records)

Verify erectors Controlled Decking Zone Plan is being followed

Establish and verify perimeter safety cable railing procedures

Visual inspection of structural members for sizing and grade compliance

Verify anchor bolt layout, size/grade, and thread projections are correct

Verify all anchor bolts, nuts, and washers are acceptable

Verify proper anchors, imbedment depth/diameter, and specified adhesive products for embedded anchors

Verify elevations of base plate leveling nuts

Verify plumb and alignment of structural members prior to final welding

Verify all base plates have been properly grouted using correct type of grout

Verify moment weld locations, type, preheating requirements, and applicable standards with erector

Verify correct bolting/washers completed at all bolted structural members

Verify deformed bar anchor locations and bar grade

Verify plan locations of bent plate/slab edge angles with slab plan

Verify decking meets design specifications

Verify shear stud types and locations

Verify steel joists and bridging is installed per design

Verify galvanized members are installed at correct locations

Verify testing of welds approved by independent testing lab (retain a copy of all reports)

Verify all torque testing of bolts approved by independent testing agency (retain a copy of all reports)

Verify all shear stud testing and approval by independent testing agency (retain a copy of all reports)

Verify all platforms, ladders, and handrails meet applicable standards

Verify touch up paint is complete and acceptable
