QS - Hand Injury Observation

Hazards that have the risk of producing hand injuries have been identified on the JTSA.

All slip, trip, fall hazards have been identified on the JTSA.

All objects that have the risk of falling onto the employee have been identified on the JTSA.

All employees are wearing cut resistant gloves while handling objects with sharp or jagged edges and/or ANY metal items.

All employees using any type of hammer (hammer, sledge hammer, jack hammer) have impact resistant gloves on.

There are no personal pocket knives on the job site.

All employees refrain from placing there hands where pinch pints or caught-betweens can occur.

All employees handling ground rods have cut resistant gloves on.

Employees using hand tools, place themselves in a position to minimize strain.
