Seat Belts: Check to ensure that the seat belts are not frayed and are proper working condition. Take a picture if you find any damage.

Interior Damage: Note any damage to the interior of the vehicle. This includes tears in seats, damage to the dashboard or console as well as any other noticeable damage. Take pictures of the damage found.

Exterior Damage: Note any damage to the exterior of the vehicle. This includes dings, dents, cracks in the windshield, state of the paint job as well as tire condition and overall appearance. Take pictures of the damage found.

Oil Leaks: Make note of any obvious oil leaks and isolate where they are coming from if possible.

Under Vehicle Damage: Inspect the undercarriage for any obvious structural damage. Make note and take pictures of any found damage.

Headlights and Driving Lights: Perform a functionality test of the headlights. Check turn signals as well as high beams. Also perform a check of the brake lights. Take a picture of the headlamp lens on both sides.

Tow Hitch: Verify that your tow hitch and pin are in good working condition. Take a picture of your tow hitch and pin.

Windscreen Wipers: Check the functionality and condition of the windshield wiper blades.

Horn: Perform a test of the vehicles horn.

Admin and Safety: Ensure that you have a complete first aid kit as well as the proper vehicle documentation (current insurance card and permanent registration).
