Cross-train the existing employees, Create Production trainers/Hospitality trainers, increase awareness of labor % to crew, Train shifts at meeting how to adjust to different labor scenarios motivate shift leaders by covering bonus program

Pathing

  • Do you have a binder??

  • Operational Pathing must be completed upon arrival to your store. Please utilize the journal to write down any issues that need to be addressed and or corrected. GM must complete pathing-every half hour & RM every hour of your work shift using the #4 Pathing Worksheet. Write down any areas you see need to be corrected

Shift Leader Meetings

  • Shift leader meeting every two weeks mandatory

  • Effective immediately you will be able to request labor credit for your Shift Leader Meetings

  • Having and organizing SL Meetings will increase the awareness of expected goals and results with all your mgt. team

  • Having Shift Leader meetings accomplishes the following:

  • Communicate Results from previous weeks

  • Communicate expectations/goals moving forward

  • Communicate any new products, procedures, guidelines

  • Discuss issues within the restaurant as a team—develop solutions—make decisions

  • Everyone hears the same message or messages at once

  • Discuss Achievement Board status-update

  • Training--who is in training, what do they need to do to get promoted

  • This Labor Credit will be expensive but it will pay for itself if utilized efficiently and correctly

  • **Having SL Meetings will improve your overall results which will then pay for this investment in Labor Credit.**
