Welding and Cutting

  • Any welding or compressed gas powered cutting on site?

  • Fire extinguisher at site of welding/cutting?

  • All cylinders stored in designated area and secured?

  • Housekeeping in welding & cutting area acceptable?

  • Is adequate ventilation in place?

  • Proper PPE being worn?

  • Hot work Permit completed when welding or cutting in areas with combustible materials or other hazards?

Steps and Stairways

  • Are all asbestos or lead containing materials or PCB light ballasts and bulbs being protected from damage?

  • Do abatement operations appear to be in compliance?
