  • Store Manager / Designated Person

  • For and on behalf of MCCS

  • Document Brief: The purpose of this document is to ensure the store is Safe & Legal and fit for trading , after construction works have concluded that night or day. The MC Contract Services (MCCS) site manager will be responsible to complete the document and action any issues identified with the store manager. At a Designated time agreed with the store manager (usually 1hr prior to trading), both MCCS site manager and appointed store representative will carry out walk of store, both internal and external to ensure store is ready for service.

Once all actions are closed out and store accepts, a signed copy of the document will be added to site file, also attached to a daily site report and issued to MCCS site manager. A copy should also be issued to store manager for reference.

The document identifies any problem areas and has key ‘Safe & Legal” questions. NOTE the document is not exhaustible and project specific issues should be added to the document as required.
